The Absurd April Fool’s Parade, organized by the Left Hand Artist Group, returns next Saturday for an evening of eccentrically-dressed participants marching through downtown Longmont. Participants will gather at 5:47 p.m. at the Longmont Senior Center in Roosevelt Park, 910 Longs Peak Ave, with the parade beginning a little after 6 p.m. The group will walk south on Pratt Street, east on 6th Avenue, north on Main Street and west on Longs Peak Avenue to end back at Roosevelt Park. Those taking part are encouraged to wear their craziest costumes and bring noisemakers. Children and pets are also welcome.
